The Center serves Muslims of many different ethnic backgrounds, who reside all over the Chicago land area. The Center has a multi-ethnic membership. However, many worshippers who attend Fridays Khutbas (Sermons) by the Imam, are non-member American Muslims of various ethnic origins including Arab, Bosnian, Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, African, Montenegrin, and other origins, who work or reside in Northbrook, or in the adjacent cities and vicinities. The ICC-GC has two weekend schools that run from around mid-September through around mid-May. The Center provides a variety of social, cultural, and educational activities throughout the year. The ICC-GC has a Volunteering Board of Directors who work hard and dedicate a lot of their valuable time to keep the Islamic Cultural Center operating at its best. and to maintain its beautiful image. The Imam of the ICC-GC is a Bosnian Muslim Scholar who has compiled a lot of knowledge about Islam.
