Masjid Al-Salam, also known as Champions Mosque, is one of the many Islamic centers managed by the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) that have continued to serve the diverse community of Houston for years.
Equipped with a multipurpose hall/gymnasium, and a community clinic, it is also home to the Houston Peace Academy (HPA) and the Weekend Islamic School (WIS). It hosts a variety of events regularly, ranging from classes and workshops to festivals and sports tournaments.
Additionally, it is the chartered organization for Troop 321 Boys Scouts, Pack 321 Cub Scouts, 2016 Girls Venture Crew, and Troop 13467 Girl Scouts.
